Featuring Amazing World Music Band ATASH; Sensational Quartet: Gourisankar (tabla), Indrajit Banerjee (sitar), Indradeep Ghosh (violin) and Tony Monaco (keyboards); and Dynamic Kathak and Flamenco Duo (Labonee Mahanta and Guillermo Tabares).
World Music Unleashed 2015 – An evening of African music and dance with a touch of Indian spice. Grammy Award winning artist Mamadou Diabate, a kora player from Mali, joined an ensemble including Gourisankar on Tabla, Indrajit Banerjee on Sitar and Indradeep Ghosh on Violin. Abou Sylla, master percussionist, brought his dance troupe, Bramaya, to encourage the audience to move and shake to the African rhythms.
An evening filled with the flavors of Indian, Jazz and Middle Eastern Music…Tabla, Sitar, Violin, Guitar, Upright Base, Drum, Cajon and Voice…add the beautiful rhythm and artistry of Flamenco Dancing…and you have world music unleashed!
